Why we build is as important as how we build

What are the most important aspects of your next home construction project? When it comes down to it, wouldn’t they be the quality of the work and the integrity of the workers? We know how important these are… it’s our goal to give you the design freedom and the considerate interaction needed for a spectacular finished project.
We’ve been in the construction industry for many years, and we know there can be confusion about construction methods. Our specialty is honest and forthright discussion about the realities of your project. Our knowledge and experience will be at your disposal to make the best possible design and construction decisions.

Whether you are considering:
- redesigning your kitchen into a family gathering place
- remodeling your bathroom into a personal retreat
- expanding your living space with a finished attic, lower level, or addition
- increasing home efficiency with new windows and doors
- improving your home’s curb appeal
- updating your bedroom for a calming retreat
- adding an outside deck, patio, or maybe a kitchen for fun with family and friends or even, designing and building your dream house.

Your peace of mind drives our process: We break everything down into manageable steps, so you are not overwhelmed. We will explain each step of our building process and will introduce you to the teams who will be working. We know this is an intimate relationship--you are inviting us into your home, and we will be there for as long as is needed. We respect this and we respect your property.

Consultation: We will sit down with you to discuss your ideas, needs, visions, concerns, questions. Feel free to bring photos. If you already know exactly what you want, we will go over it carefully to point out any issues we have learned from our years of experience, and/or make some suggestions you may not have thought about. We will guide you, not dictate to you. If you’re in the very early phase of wanting something but not sure what it is, we’ll help guide you. Remember, our ultimate goal is not to provide a product, but to solve a problem for you with that product. We provide the services to help you clarify what you need, define, design and develop the solution, then build it.
Our second meeting will be to present a design with an estimated range of costs. Together we will determine what you like and what you don’t. We will discuss estimated timelines.

Presentation: Finally, we will present a detailed plan including, what we need to do, what you need to do, and what we need to do together. We will give you the contract and we will agree on a start date.

The House that Lou Built

Lou, as a young adult, started a windows and siding company 44 years back. Realizing he wanted to do full home construction he learned all aspects of the building business. In the ‘80s he first bought a house to remodel, then bought a house to completely rebuild, moving on to buying a number of burned down homes turning them into section 8 housing. As he says, “Construction has been a way of life for me as long as I can remember.”

But Lou wanted more. He wanted his business to be unique. Enter brother Dan Leone in 1985, with his extraordinary and intrinsic carpentry skills. He does fine wood-working instinctively. His is a rare gift and his work is captivating. So, Lou created Leone Brothers Construction, -not- your- average- contracting business, but a business with that custom flare and uniqueness that separates it from the rest. Starting with small jobs, it quickly grew to larger, more complex and diverse projects as its reputation for quality workmanship became well known. As Lou says, “I am proud of our tremendous success and our large and loyal customer base. In fact, the majority of our business comes from word-of-mouth referrals.”

Dan is one of the best master carpenters (live link to skills )on the East Coast and is highly respected by his peers. When contractors and designers have problems they can’t solve, they go to Lou or Dan.

Matt Leone, Lou’s son, attended Northeastern college thinking he wanted to be an architect. But he always admired his father’s and uncle’s work and the idea of being part of something so creative drew him away. Growing up in this environment, he has done this his entire life. He combines his knowledge of this industry with his love for art. Learning every part of the business he has taken a lead role attracting new customers, managing jobs, and modernizing infrastructure. Matt is adamant when saying, “we strive for, establish, and value our strong relationships with our homeowners, both during the building process and afterwards. Integrity, dependability and fine workmanship are our cornerstones and every team member is committed to providing our homeowners with a seamless building process and final product that will be a source of pride and enjoyment for years to come.”

These Leone men are unique individuals with their own very special skills, together they are a powerhouse that continually elevates the business to new heights and leads it in new directions.

Creativity is people who care enough to keep thinking about something until they find the simplest way to do it.

"What is the difference between a home and a truly beautiful home? The finishing touches. Have you ever walked through a model home or looked at homes in magazines and wondered why your home doesn’t look anything like that? We all have. Sure, furniture and decorating make a beautiful home, but it’s the work of a finish carpenter –providing those finishing touches and special projects--that can really make a house stand apart from the rest.
